However, not everywhere Barack Obama costume represents change we can believe in, not every John McCain costume looks Penguin enough, and not every Sarah Palin costume is worthy of the VPILF. Amazon.com Files Obama Mask As A Terrorist Costume October 31, 2008

I had heard from a friend that searching on Amazon.com for “terrorist costume” would yield but one costume — a Barack Obama mask.

Figuring it was a joke, I had to try it for myself. After entering “terrorist costume” in to the “Apparel & Accessories” search box at Amazon, however, the search results were less than funny. Sure enough, there was but one result, a Barack Obama mask Buy Now!

Costume Company Says It’s Been Picking Victors

BOSTON — It may sound spooky, but a national Halloween costume retailer says it can predict the outcome of the presidential election based on the number of candidate masks it sells.

 Spirit Halloween said it has picked the winner in the past three presidential elections days before the general election results were in, WCVB-TV in Boston reported.

 The Spirit Halloween Presidential Index measures sales of the masks, and in 2004, sales were 65 percent to 35 percent for George W. Bush over John Kerry.
